Regardless of what you call them, they are a product of both nature and man.
Carelessly discarded bottles and glass are tumbled by the ocean forming these often colorful gems collected from the shores.
It is said that it takes a minimum of three years for the wave, sand and tide to wear the broken glass down to the likeness of these smooth raw gems, called beach sea glass.
Every piece of sea glass used is a genuine piece of glass hand picked from the shores of Norfolk to Virginia Beach on the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia and left in it's orginial form.
All pieces are unique and have not been polished or cut other than by nature....no two pieces are exactly alike, but similar.
